Photo manipulation is the application of image editing techniques using photographs in order to create an illusion, deception, or entirely new composition (in contrast to mere photographic enhancement or correction). Sometimes called "photoshopping," the alteration is often much more dramatic than subtle color balance or contrast changes, as the resulting image may have little or no resemblance to the photo (or photos) from which it originated.
